SNELT stands for Society of Niger English Language Teachers. It’s a teachers association created and run by Nigerien English language teachers. The main objective of SNELT is to provide it’s members with an environment conducive for exchange . SNELT was initiated by a group of teachers in 1992. It was officially and legally recognized on June 8th, 1992. The association has an office equipped with a computer and a library with very interesting materials on ELT.
