The ESL/EFL teachers’ family in Niger is a group of women and men devoted to the task of teaching English, a language which has become now a lingua franca, a language so important and so vital in today’s socio-professional life that everybody wants to own it as a tool. We are aware of that fact, that’s why we came to the assumption that we should unit in order to share experience and knowledge, and by so doing better ourselves in our mission, hence the creation of SNELT (Society of Niger English Language Teachers.) SNELT is an English teaching professionals’ association aiming at providing its members with an environment where they can discuss, learn, share and know each other in order to become more efficient and more equipped as teachers. We are English teachers, and we are proud!
